Responsibilities:

Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude. Assist clients in finding their way around the office. Announce clients as necessary. Help maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs. Assist with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, taking notes, and making travel plans. Prepare meeting and training rooms. Answer phones in a professional manner and route calls as necessary. Assist colleagues with administrative tasks. Perform ad-hoc administrative duties. Sort and distribute mail. Hire, manage, and develop the junior administrative team. Provide excellent customer service. Schedule appointments. Manage transactions with customers using cash registers. Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate. Collect payments whether in cash or credit. Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets. Redeem stamps and coupons. Cross-sell products and introduce new ones. Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information. Greet customers when entering or leaving the store. Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas. Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies. Bag, box, or gift-wrap packages. Handle merchandise returns and exchanges.
