Logistics Executive The Logistics Executive is responsible for overseeing the efficient and cost-effective transportation and storage of products. This role involves coordinating with freight forwarders, managing shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing logistics processes to meet business objectives. This role involves handling documentation, tracking shipments, and optimizing logistics processes to support the company's operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement logistics strategies and plans to meet the company's operational goals.

Coordinate and manage logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.

Plan and monitor inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and receipt of goods.

Select and negotiate contracts with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.

Monitor and evaluate freight forwarders' performance to ensure compliance with service level agreements.

Optimize shipping routes and methods to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

Ensure compliance with international and domestic shipping regulations and customs requirements.

Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documentation, including packing lists, and customs declarations.

Stay updated with changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to logistics processes.

Maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders and suppliers to ensure high levels of service.

Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments or deliveries.

Provide regular updates to customers on the status of their shipments.

Continuously analyze logistics processes and identify areas for improvement.

Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

in business administration or a related field.

10 years

of experience out of which at least

5 years

with freight forwarders.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices.

Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
