The main role is to welcome, treat and assist Customer with their needs, enquiries and purchases in Katrina store ensuring that each customer receives highest level of service.

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Welcomes customers by greeting them; offering them assistance;
  • Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items;
  • Advises customers by providing information on products;
  • Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions;
  • Handling all the cash transaction of an organization;
  • Receive payment by cash, credit card, etc.
  • Checking daily cash accounts;
  • Guiding and solving queries of customer;
  • Providing training and assistance to new joined cashier;
  • Provide highest level of customer service to every customer and improve it;
  • Take gently Customer’ orders over the phone and at the counter;
  • Suggest to Customers products selection in stores;
  • Suggest to Customers in selecting decorated cakes design and suggest the best one;
  • Promote to Customer new products & samples;
  • Manage difficult situations with Customer in absence of supervisor;
  • Identify customer needs & problems and manage to address them;
  • Ensure best merchandise display for Customer with arrangement and price tags;
  • Retain knowledge and explanation of all bakery & pastry products sold in the bakery;
  • Package carefully products in special envelopes & boxes;
  • Count and store received bakery and pastry products & items as needed;
  • Write messages on cakes;
  • Report to supervisor for products imperfections or hazards;
  • Follow the chiller temperature and fill in a form;
  • Properly use store equipment such as label machine, chillers, coffee machine, oven, dishwasher, laptops, POS and upkeep it (change tapes and ribbons, etc.);
  • Follow safe food handling guidelines. Keep work area sanitary and clean;
  • Ensure effective coordination with other departments;
  • Identify store needs & place product orders to central kitchen;
  • Minimize time & improve quality to take customers’ orders;
  • Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping.

Requirement

  • Friendly and engaging personality.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Minimum 2 years retail or customer service experience.
  • Familiar with software such as Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
  • Fast-learning and properly following the processes and guidelines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently without supervision.
  • Ability to make customer-oriented and cost-effective decisions, take responsibility.

Salary : AED2,500.00 - AED2,700.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience :

  • Sales: 2 years (required)
