The overall purpose of this role is to develop and lead sales strategy for defined area of responsibility, specifically the achievement of sales and service targets. Ensure that all the set targets are met/exceeded for the respective area. Collaborate with other area heads and ensure positive communication to achieve the overall target. Maintain active communication with the Sales Manager population to ensure resources are coordinated and optimized, aligning programs/initiatives to challenge the set target/goal and market. Maintain active communication with the Sales Manager ensuring budgeted headcount is always available; staff retention and performance is one of the KPIs. Ensure that all staff training on product and selling skills is an ongoing activity, with periodic reviews carried out. Manage healthy and professional inter-department relationships. Lead an aggressive growth agenda in line with sales targets. Manage strategic alliance relationships with key associations, influencers, media, think tanks, academics, etc. Support public relations. Track, monitor, and evaluate marketing and sales activities and accomplishments; survey decision-makers on the effectiveness and quality of efforts and solicit feedback for future actions. Participate in and execute components of strategic planning and budgeting. Demonstrate the ability to work well within a team, both on location and in a virtual mode, and interact with/influence all levels of management. Monitor the financial and non-financial targets assigned to the teams and take corrective action where necessary, providing details to senior management. Initiate and monitor promotional activities and roadshows (client meetings, trade shows, etc.). Provide direction, training, and coordination to respective staff regarding the design and execution of events geared toward client education, relationship building, and revenue growth. Manage sales of assigned teams/area and ensure that overall responsibilities are achieved/exceeded. Increase the bank’s visibility in the banking/financial industry. Develop new strategies for the business of the respective area. Ensure that team members are always up to date on product features and promotions. Ensure that all team members adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures, Policies, Code of Conduct, and Service Standards of the bank, initiating appropriate disciplinary action for any violations noted. Qualifications

Leadership and team management skills. Positive approach towards issues and problems. Strong sales and service background. Quality/excellence in internal and external customer relationships. High motivation and proactivity. Ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen external and internal customer relationships. Negotiation and presentation skills required. Client satisfaction index. Adherence to policies, processes, and procedures of FAB. University Degree. 5 years relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 2 years in similar positions.
